NIYA Beyond Borders: A Journey to Service

  • Shaghf cafe 894 75th street (map)

Join us for a reflective info session led by NIYA cofounder, Saira, as she shares stories from her humanitarian journeys across the globe — and invites you to be part of what’s next, followed by an IRUSA presentation of upcoming service opportunities by Engagement Specialist, Wsmah Siddiqui!

What We’ll Explore:

  • North Carolina rebuilding homes deployment,

  • Hunza, Pakistan – Rakaposhi Hiking Challenge

  • Mount Kilimanjaro – Climbing for Clean Water in Africa

  • IMANA Medical Mission – Swat, Pakistan

  • Morocco humanitarian 2025

On this upcoming trip with Islamic Relief, Saira will be travelling with a team to come together to serve and connect by beautifying and supporting local schools, volunteering at sustainable agricultural sites, and meeting women-led microenterprises that empower families. We’ll also assist with post-earthquake recovery efforts in communities still rebuilding from the 2023 disaster

During this info session, you’ll hear firsthand stories, learn about the impact of these humanitarian efforts, and discover how NIYA is planning its own future service trip—an opportunity for Muslim women to grow, give back, and make a meaningful impact rooted in faith and intention.

Open to all Muslim women interested in intentional travel, global service, and spiritual growth

Come with an open heart. Leave with a deeper purpose.

This is NIYA — Beyond Borders.
